LD DESIGN STUDIO WAS ENGAGED BY CROSSLEY TRANSPORT PLANNING TO CREATE ARTIST IMPRESSIONS FOR TWO SYDNEY LOCATIONS AS PART OF THE 2020 PUBLIC SPACE IDEAS COMPETITION.
Box Road, Jannali’s Main Street was reimagined as a vibrant, people-friendly public plaza where local businesses could thrive. The artist impression shows how a car-dominated main street could be revitalised with street trees, landscaping, seating, water features, and public art, transforming it into a safe, inviting place where people want to spend time and shop.
Liverpool Station car park was reimagined as a lively night market, transforming an under-utilised commuter car park into a hub of activity with food trucks, market stalls, local music, entertainment, lighting, and public artwork to bring the space to life after dark.
